Developmental Editing
Developmental Editing provides the big-picture feedback. This will dive into character development, story pacing, themes, tone, plot, etc.
Line Editing
Line Editing goes a bit closer, looking line by line for clarity and flow. You may get feedback on word choice, sentence structure, voice, sentence-level pacing, etc.
Proofreading
Proofreading is both the closest and farthest look into your work. At this point, there should have been multiple eyes on it, and I'm looking for obvious issues. This may look like spelling errors, punctuation mistakes, grammar or style corrections, etc.
Blog/Article Writing
A blog or article can look like so many things: personal essays, SEO drivers, education resources, thought leadership insights, etc.
Marketing Writing
Not worried about blogs, but need some solid written content to build traffic? This can look like website copy, email campaigns, sales pages, product descriptions, etc.
Beta Reading
Sometimes, as writers, we aren't quite looking for an editor, but we want thoughts and an objective reader's point of view. Let me know what you want me to focus on, and I will simply read your manuscript and give you notes as a reader, not an editor.
